| Comments | Good drainage is a must. Comes up late in the spring when the soil warms up a little. This makes it a good to combine with spring bulbs. In hot summer areas, it does not perform well in small containers as it prefers its roots cool. John Boggan, director of the US National Arboretum in DC, reports it to have survived in his garden in Washington D.C. for two winters (2009, 2010). |

Heavily silvered, maple-like leaves on a ZONE 7 hardy Begonia. Vigorously grows to form a striking 16″ tall specimen. Pink flowers in late summer extend the show. From a cross between two hardy Chinese begonias – a breeding breakthrough! American Begonia Society “Distinctive hybrid” award in 2008.
