This medium large Begonia has deep forest green leaves, which are also quilted and velvety. The large, rounded palmate leaves have dark red leaf backs and are supported by shocking black-red stems. Pink flowers that appear in late summer are large and bloom in showy clusters. This is a Begonia with sophistication, simplicity and charm.

Grower Notes These tolerate cool greenhouse conditions with a low of 40° F. Sanitation of media and growing conditions is critical. Greenhouse production recommended for best environmental controls. Avoid use of overhead irrigation. Do not crowd plants as this can lead to more disease problems and stretched plants. Do not plant too deep.
